All About Me

Hello and welcome to Preschool! My name is Mrs. Gaspar and I am the Preschool Teacher. I grew up in Sioux Falls and graduated high school in 2014. I went on to attend college at the University of Sioux Falls and graduated with a degree in Elementary education and a minor in English as a Second Langauge (ELL) in 2018. My first teaching job was here at Colman-Egan where I was the 6th grade Para. The following year I was the Para in Kindergarten and then became the ELL Teacher halfway through the year. I taught ELL for 2.5 years, before becoming the Preschool Teacher here. In May of 2023, I received my Early Childhood Special Education degree from Black Hills State University. This will be my 4th year teaching Preschool! :) In October 2023, Aaron and I welcomed our first child, Briggs. He is a happy go lucky boy, and keeps us on our toes.  This coming August, we will be welcoming our second baby into the family. We are excited to see Briggs take on the big brother role. When I am not teaching you can find me helping out at the farm, hanging out with family and friends, or shopping.​
